Slice of Life Vol. 108

This is another one of my favorite collections. Not just because it features a picture of my pet rabbit Fluffy that is vaguely reminiscent of the classic of American cinema Night of the Lepus.

But also because it features pictures of the 1385. When I was a kid I’m pretty sure I thought the 1385 coming to Boone was the biggest thing in the history of history.

One of the minor influences on me artistically was a book from my childhood about trains called simply Trains. When the Christopher D. Bennett Museum is opened (at 415 Greene St.) it should be put proudly on display. The placard explaining its significance will note that the chunk missing from the book was taken caused by Karma.

The atmospheric pictures of the Boone County Court House are also right in my wheelhouse.
