A quick reminder that Boone will be celebrating National Pet Memorial Day today (September 17) at 1 PM. The ceremony will be at the Best Friends Pet Cemetery, which is located a few blocks north of the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad on Division Street. Pastor Doug (of Boone First United Methodist fame) will offer a blessing. Refreshments will be served.
