Shannon

The Shannon After

Shannon had over a foot of hair cut off her head last Thursday. On Sunday I was able to document this joyous hair loss, but the day was not completely happy. In the picture above you should try to look past Shannon. You may notice something. Shannon appears to be… Read More »The Shannon After

One of my vacation projects was to attempt to bring as much of my stuff together as made sense and downsize as much stuff as I could. I was able to accomplish some downsizing. I think my major accomplish was getting my old Hoosier Kitchen Cabinet out of storage. I… Read More »Before

Euphonious

Friday was an interesting day. Of course there was the high of it being Free Gyro Day, but the rest of the work day went rather uneventful. It was near 5:30, the time I was going to run out of hours and check out for the week, when my phone… Read More »Euphonious

Selected Pictures

This year I took a different route selecting pictures for the Photo Contest. I put together 20 pictures and then had certain people select and name 1 picture from that list. I then entered those pictures. I liked the way this process worked out. I will do it again in… Read More »Selected Pictures

Dismissed

The final four pictures that were not selected all come from Independence Day. Todd lighting fireworks. Shannon watching. Fireworks from below. Fireworks from below. Shannon observing the fireworks. That concludes the presentation of the 14 pictures that didn’t make it to the photo contest.

That Picture

To answer the question: “Yes I took that picture of Shannon in the Des Moines Register”. I thought would post some of my favorite pictures from the photo shoot that will no doubt launch her modeling career. Watching all that soap making makes me want to go buy some soap.

Slow on the take…

Some times the Des Moines Register gets real arrogant. They do things like try to me just who it is that “I should get to know”. Some times the Des Moines Register gets it right. However, even when they get it right they are way behind the times. Check out… Read More »Slow on the take…

Friday with Kountertop

Friday night was another successful Ames on the Half Shell. The band was Kountertop and they were phenomenal. I even had a chance to catchup with an old chum named Todd Sawyer who is a Kountertop roadie. That was pretty sweet. I haven’t loaded any images into the Snapshots Gallery… Read More »Friday with Kountertop

Sunday

I managed to make it through this Sunday’s Sermon/Interview. I don’t think that I embarrassed myself too much and I think at least a few people were touched or were able to relate to my message. I don’t want to re-hash the experience, but I would like to thank Jesse,… Read More »Sunday
