Docking Station Beta

A few pictures from the 2016 Youth Group Retreat taken with the point and shoot and a couple taken with the real camera. But like I said earlier… this won’t be the last time you hear about this group of kids.

Docking Station Alpha

As I’ve posted about before, I spent my weekend (a few weekends back) with my church’s youth group on their annual retreat to the Y Camp. Here are some pictures I took with a cruddy camera phone of the weekend. Jentry being oh so scary. Docking Time! Shawn, enjoying the… Read More »Docking Station Alpha

Minnesota

This collection images comes from a folder called “Minnesota”. It is also from January 2006. These were taken on the Mississippi River in Saint Paul. Next Saturday’s folder is entitled “Sculpture Garden”.

Retreat 2016!

I told you would be hearing more about my weekend with the Youth Group. There might even small bits of solicitation coming your way. (Hint! Hint!) This is the closest to a full group photo from the weekend I got: Not pictured is other male chaperon Corey and the photographer… Read More »Retreat 2016!

Le Cirque est Plein

Last Thursday was Senior Night at some sort of Boone High athletics event. Alexis was honored along with the other seniors. Do to a scheduling kerfuffle, Carla wasn’t there to walk with Alexis. Therefore Mom did. Here is a picture from that night: It is hard to remember that when… Read More »Le Cirque est Plein

Ledgends

I was recently commissioned to photograph Avril’s family before Hunter left for the military. What lies below is one of my favorites from that photo shoot that was on a cold, cold day. I’m sure I may share a couple of other favorites over the next few weeks. PARTICULARS CAMERA:… Read More »Ledgends

I was recently commissioned by longtime patron of Photography 139 Scottie D. to take some candids of his children for a Christmas present for his wife. I believe her name to be Wife. We took a few hundred of them playing. This is one of my favorites. I’m sure I… Read More »Playground

I told you that BLACK AND WHITE photography was my passion. So… Buckle up buttercup, this is going to be a long one… Sometimes I forget that smack in the middle of Ames is the most beautiful campus in the world. I should really visit it more often. GO STATE!!!

With the Plastic Eyeballs

Not everybody can be a winner. Like people who get really angry about Participant ribbons. Those people aren’t winners. These pictures are the people-who-get-mad-about-Participant-ribbons of the FOOD theme for the WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE. Submitted with bits of commentary. What I eat for breakfast about every Saturday. Because I like to… Read More »With the Plastic Eyeballs

Butane in My Veins

Here are a few of the losers that didn’t make the cut for my submission to THE WEEKLY PHOTO CHALLENGE! To think, I almost gifted that wig (that was a gift from Jen) to Willy. Still might.
