This week’s Personal Photo Project was to get a decent picture of the Grand Ole Opry Stage. This proved to be more difficult than I had expected. The other tourists had their own agendas. But in the end, I did get the picture I wanted.

During my constant pursuit of minimalism, I have decided to return these records to their original owner Tim. Just another small part in some of the item ownership reassignment I have been doing lately.
But before I parted with them, I needed to photograph them.

Personal Photo Project #159
Ornament
When I pulled out the old trombone to photograph, I couldn’t believe how badly it had fallen into disrepair. It had ceased being a fully functional instrument decades ago, but I don’t remember there actually being a hole in the slide before. It is certainly nothing more than an ornament now, but perhaps it is time to toss it in the trash.

Trash
Dennis pulled this cornet out of the trash and gave it to Derrick. I borrowed it off Derrick to photograph.
But after reviewing the images, I realize that they are lousy with digital noise. I need to re-shoot this cornet with better lighting.
