Another July Birthday

One last Happy Birthday! Now I have to get caught up on birthday presents. I got Jay’s delivered yesterday. Now I just need to get Jen’s delivered.

That Wedding

Here is a collection of images from that wedding where I was the 2nd Shooter a few weeks back. I’ll hopefully post more pictures from that wedding in the future.

Independence Day

It was a busy 4th of July. I started the day at about 9 AM by moving mortars into place. Then at 10:30 I went over to Half Shell to help set up and serve beer until about 3 PM. Check out some pictures from Half Shell. Shannon and Matthew… Read More »Independence Day

Obfuscate

Saturday was my annual lunch with Mark at The Machine Shed. It seems that it is also becoming a tradition that we get an out of focus picture of us taken together. However, I think it is becoming a trend. Take a look at other pictures I’ve had taken with… Read More »Obfuscate

2nd Shooter

I did some 2nd shooter action at a wedding for Todd and Peggy on Sunday. I shot this in RAW and it has taken me quite some time to bother getting this converted to JPG. So this post is much less ambitious than I hoped. I still haven’t converted much.… Read More »2nd Shooter

Vivace

Friday was another successful night at Ames on the Half Shell. Well over 400 people came out to see Vivace. I worked admissions and checked IDs, so I didn’t take as many photos as normal. Below is a sampling: Little White Lye Soap Promotional Cup (changes colors) Of course there… Read More »Vivace

3 Things

Relay for Life So Relay for Life is coming up pretty darn quick. As it turns out I forgot to start raising money. I have raised some money, but that money consisted of me sitting on my rump when somebody came up to me and threw some cash into my… Read More »3 Things

Family Night

Last Friday was Family Night for Ames on the Half Shell. By all measurable criteria the event was a smashing success. More than twice the amount of children made it to Family Night this year than last. Plus I got to see many of my friends and their children. Take… Read More »Family Night

Real American

The job posting for a Scab Nader has been closed. Nader has returned to the United States from his trip to visit family in London. We celebrated his return to the States with a meal at King Buffet and a viewing of Prince Caspian. While eating the semi-edibles at King… Read More »Real American

Sundaze

Sunday was an interesting day for me. I started the day as a greeter for church. There were a couple unique events at church on Sunday. 4 of the churches in the area combined choirs and toured their churches. One of the other 4 churches is the Central Christian Church,… Read More »Sundaze

Bad Photos

I got all of the old pictures off of my phone. There aren’t a terribly large amount of pictures on there because the old phone is about 4 years old and didn’t have much memory on it. It turns out almost every picture on that phone ranges from bad to… Read More »Bad Photos

The Big Jesus

Last Friday Jesse and I embarked on a road trip that we lovingly named The Big Jesus Road Trip. Our final destination and epoch of the trip was a 33 foot tall stainless steel Jesus statue. A plan was hatched and a route was devised. The plan was set in… Read More »The Big Jesus
